You know these tools you never knew you missed or needed until you get one. That is how we felt about the dough whisk. The first time we used it we were hooked. This one is made so sturdy, with the handle made from lacquered beechwood and the whisk made from high quality stainless steel, that it will last a lifetime.
The spiral of the whisk itself has a diameter of Ø 8.5 cm / 3.3 inches. The beechwood handle is 24.5 cm / 9.6 inches, the total length is 37 cm / 14.8 inches.
We use it to prep our pre-ferments and do our initial dough mixing before kneading, but also for pancake and cake batter, cookie dough, cupcake icing and sauces and smooth mashes. In short, it has become an essential baking tool.
