These bannetons (also called bread proofing baskets or brotform) are made of cane and have a dough capacity of around 250 to 500 grams, maybe a bit more too, depending on the volume of the dough.

It doesn't matter if your dough rises a little above the basket, as long as most of it gets support from the basket during the rise.

These baskets will last for many, many years.
